Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Eckstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marko Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eckstein takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Eckstein shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


It looks like Jason Eckstein has been cut.
Kersikov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Eckstein lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Good work by Kersikov as he checks the leg kick.
We've been told by Eckstein's head coaches at Humboldt Park Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
