Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Hardacre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to UFC: Closer to the Edge (Jared Leto). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hardacre. Williams does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hardacre scores with a jab to the body.
Williams dodges the punch combination from Hardacre.
Williams looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hardacre throws a low kick, looking for Williams's leg but Williams calmly moves out of range.
Williams throws a wild body kick that Hardacre sees coming a mile off.
Williams throws a jab when Hardacre was well out of range.
Williams dodges the punch combination from Hardacre.
Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hardacre throws out the jab.
Hardacre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hardacre gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Hardacre's shoulder, as Hardacre tries to avoid the shot.
Williams misses with a wild body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardacre throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Nice uppercut lands for Hardacre. That snapped Williams's head back.
Hardacre uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Williams has time to react.
Good standup being displayed there by Hardacre as he connects with a hook.
Williams with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A nice leg kick lands there from Williams.
Hardacre lands a really nice looking cross but Williams seems unphased.
Williams takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hardacre scores with a kick to the body.

Hardacre lands a big head kick that sends Williams tumbling to the mat! Hardacre takes a step backwards and waves Williams back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Simon Williams has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hardacre slips under a jab from Williams.
Hardacre swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Williams throws a leg kick but Hardacre moved away.
Hardacre thuds his right hand into Williams's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Williams is rocked!
A head kick by Hardacre - that's a beauty! Williams is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Hardacre can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
