The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darabedyan blocks the body kick.
Darabedyan throws a leg kick but Zaromskis sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Zaromskis changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Darabedyan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Karen Darabedyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zaromskis throws a front kick aimed at Darabedyan's knee but Darabedyan avoids it well.

Zaromskis is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Darabedyan knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Darabedyan for a finish.
Darabedyan is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Zaromskis off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
I really don't envy Darabedyan right now.

Zaromskis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
