Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolfo Gusman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Uppercut might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mad izm. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Lance Uppercut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodolfo Gusman!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gusman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Uppercut's calf.
Nice shot lands for Uppercut.
Uppercut throws a looping overhand right but Gusman ducks down to avoid it.

Gusman drives through with a takedown into Uppercut's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Gusman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Uppercut works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gusman showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Gusman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Gusman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gusman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Uppercut trying to keep a closed guard but Gusman is proving a slippery customer.
Gusman trying to control the position from guard on top but Uppercut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gusman stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Uppercut throws up his legs and catches Gusman in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Gusman tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Uppercut! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Lance Uppercut!
Lance Uppercut gave a mention to Kemists ↑ 5x160Q in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
