The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Davis tries to pull guard but Aluko forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Aluko.
Davis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Davis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Aluko smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Aluko moves into range and clinches up with Davis.
Davis tries to pull guard but Aluko won't allow it.
Davis takes a shot to the head.
Davis tries to pull guard but Aluko forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Davis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aluko pulls his leg out and moves away.
Davis walks straight into a right hand from Aluko - that's dropped him! Aluko jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Davis from any more punishment! Davis complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
