The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henrique tries for a takedown but Lynch sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Henrique darts in and clinches Lynch up against the cage.
Lynch wants to take the fight to the mat but Henrique manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Henrique has picked Lynch up - he's going for a ride! Henrique dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Lynch tries to kick Henrique off but Henrique keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Henrique seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lynch wants to control but Henrique is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Henrique wants to pass to mount but Lynch is defending the position.
Henrique takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Henrique tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lynch knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lynch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henrique on the ground.

Henrique is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lynch wants to improve his position but Henrique is controlling well.

Henrique moves into full mount! Lynch won't be happy about that!

Henrique lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Henrique lands a big shot to the head and Lynch winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
