Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Make Munalukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pentti Hirvonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pentti Hirvonen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirvonen throws a solid leg kick but Munalukko takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hirvonen.
Munalukko is looking to counter punch.
Munalukko slaps away a takedown attempt from Hirvonen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hirvonen dodges the punch combination from Munalukko.
Hirvonen is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Munalukko with a body shot.

Hirvonen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Munalukko is landing a low percentage of strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Munalukko is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hirvonen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Make Munalukko.
I think Munalukko has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
