Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Brady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Bannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brady kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Metallica - Enter Sandman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brady misses with a body shot.
Bannon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brady needs to keep his hands up - Bannon had a free shot at his head there.
Bannon moves away from the strike by Brady.
Brady takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Brady blocks a head kick by Bannon.
Brady moves out of range as Bannon throws a body kick.
Brady fails with an attempt to clinch.
A nice side step and Bannon releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Brady shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bannon is trying to counter with his kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donk. Bannon catches Brady right on the button with a cross.
A head kick misses from Bannon.
Bannon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brady is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Brady on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bannon swats away the attempt to clinch by Brady.

Brady needs to keep his hands up - Bannon had a free shot at his head there.
Bannon slips under a jab from Brady.
Bannon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brady was well out of range. Poor timing from Bannon.
Brady throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bannon scores with a hook to the body. Brady takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Bannon lands a big head kick that sends Brady tumbling to the mat! Bannon takes a step backwards and waves Brady back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Brady is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brady is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Bannon Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Brady is out cold, face down on the mat!
