Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kazekage Kuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veikko Kulkunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kazekage Kuro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kazekage Kuro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kazekage Kuro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Veikko Kulkunen!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kuro is defended easily by Kulkunen.
Kuro shoots in looking for a takedown but Kulkunen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kuro's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And Kulkunen tries to counter it with a takedown but Kuro pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kuro shoots for a double leg takedown but Kulkunen sprawls well. He's pushed Kuro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kulkunen is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kazekage Kuro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kulkunen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kulkunen's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kuro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kulkunen's guard.
Kulkunen wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuro avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kulkunen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kuro controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kulkunen is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kuro frees his head nicely. Oh but Kulkunen has switched to an armbar! Kuro is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Kazekage Kuro was interviewed post fight and said 'Ahhhhh crap!'.
