Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Damon!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bung Popper!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damon has a takedown stuffed.
Popper misses with an uppercut. Damon saw that one coming.
Popper misses with a wild combination.
Damon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Popper as he avoids it easily.
Damon goes for a double leg but Popper avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Popper continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Damon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Popper works Damon's body with a nice hook.
Damon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Popper misses with a hook. Damon ducked under it nicely.
Popper lands with a straight right. Damon didn't see that one coming.
Damon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Popper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bung Popper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Popper throws a series of punches but Damon moves out of range.
Popper ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Popper thuds a left hand into Damon's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Popper connects with a good right hand that stumbles Damon. Damon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Popper cracks Damon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Popper has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Damon to stand back up!
Damon is rocked!
Popper throws a pinpoint strike between Damon's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Damon crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Popper scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bung Popper! Bung Popper retains his lightweight title!
