Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Stout!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rafal Koks!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout throws a body shot but no joy.
Koks misses with a low kick.
Koks looks to throw the jab but Stout is out of range.
Koks swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stout. Koks shrugs it off though.
Stout has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Pitbull MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Stout blocks a jab.
Stout misses the jab.
Koks throws a poor cross that misses
and Stout connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Koks takes a swing at Stout's ribcage but misses.
Jab by Koks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stout connects with an inside leg kick.
Koks rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Stout cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stout lets loose with a powerful body kick. Koks will feel that in the morning.
Stout misses with an uppercut.
Stout buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Koks missing with a left hand there. Stout was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stout throws a leg kick but Koks sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stout walks into a jab.
Koks lands with an uppercut that bounces Stout off the cage and back into range.
Stout ducks under a wild hook from Koks.
Koks slips under a jab from Stout.
Koks misses with a left hand
and Stout counters with a nice leg kick.
Stout misses with a body shot.
Despite the aggression on Koks's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A punch lands to the side of Stout 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Stout throws a nice inside leg kick.
Koks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Koks throws a hook but Stout blocks it.
Koks throws a leg kick but Stout sees it coming and checks it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Koks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stout.
Stout was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Rafal Koks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koks misses with a body shot.
Stout goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stout displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Koks throws out the jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Koks throws a body kick that misses.
Stout swings for the body but Koks moves out of range.
Stout ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koks moves away.
A nice combination there by Koks.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stout lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Koks has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Koks and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Stout misses with a body punch.
Koks lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Stout backwards.
Stout misses with a hook to the ribs.
A short left from Koks.
Koks misses with the head strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stout misses with a body punch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Stout.
Stout prevents a body shot from Koks.
Koks lands with a right to the head.
Koks cracks Stout with a nice body shot.
Stout working aggressively here.
Koks pushes Stout back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Koks lands a hook to the side of the head.


Stout is rocked!
Koks lands a nice uppercut.
Oh Stout is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Koks lands with a short shot to the head.
Koks creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Stout with a big uppercut! Stout tries to clinch up but Koks pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Stout to the mat! Stout covers up and Koks unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rafal Koks!
Rafal Koks is the new lightweight champion!
