The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukaku tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lukaku throws a left that rocks Mies and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Lukaku dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mies regain composure!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mies is trying to improve his position.
Mies is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lukaku 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lukaku is thwarting Mies's attempts to control the position.
Mies is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Mies wants to improve his position but Lukaku is controlling well.
Mies slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Lukaku has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mies to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lukaku is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mies pulls down on the head and he's put Lukaku to sleep! This one is all over!
