The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzoker on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Dzoko Dzoker has been cut.
Pondingham fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dzoker checks it well.
A little feinted left hand from Dzoker on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dzoker dives in for a single leg takedown but Pondingham sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dzoker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pondingham sprawls well. Pondingham wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dzoker gets slowly back to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dzoker chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pondingham can pounce on him.
Douglas Pondingham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pondingham misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pondingham takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Douglas Pondingham has been cut.
Dzoker has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dzoko Dzoker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Some wild striking there from Pondingham.
Dzoker dives in and grabs Pondingham's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pondingham pushes down on Dzoker's head and hops out.
Dzoker shoots in and drives through. Pondingham sprawls well.
Dzoker darts in looking for a takedown but Pondingham gets double underhooks and turns Dzoker into the cage.
Dzoker is breathing heavily.
Pondingham cracks Dzoker with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pondingham cracks Dzoker on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dzoker falls backwards against the cage. Pondingham follows up with more strikes that drop Dzoker to his knees. Pondingham keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dzoker! This one is all over!
