The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnsson scores with a decent looking hook.
Johnsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
It looked like Rana was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Johnsson.

Johnsson stalks Rana and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rana's face. Rana staggers backwards, shaken.

and Rana counters with a shoot takedown. Johnsson fights it but they end up in guard.

Rana drops back looking for a leg! Johnsson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnsson manages to kick Rana off! Rana jumps back into Johnsson's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rana drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rana jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rana stands and throws Johnsson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Rana is working to tighten his grip on Johnsson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Johnsson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rana is really squeezing tight and eventually Johnsson passes out! Rana breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
