Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willy Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ein Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wonka comes to the cage accompanied by Mr Rotten Treats - Insane Clown Posse. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willy Wonka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ein Stein!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stein doesn't seem bothered though.
Stein throws a body kick that misses.
Wonka misses the shot to the body.
Stein with the counter takedown but Wonka avoids it easily.
Stein scores with a jab to the body.
Wonka misses with an uppercut. Stein saw that one coming.
Wonka ducks right into an uppercut from Stein.
Wonka tries to clinch up.
A big right from Wonka misses.
Wonka throws a lazy right hand but Stein sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stein tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wonka checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

and Wonka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Wonka is nestled in close to Stein, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wonka is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Stein!

Wonka wants to control from the top but Stein keeps moving.

Stein working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wonka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wonka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wonka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stein manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Stein connects with a leg kick. Wonka looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Stein decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wonka's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wonka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stein can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wonka swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stein has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Wonka takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stein drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wonka looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wonka looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wonka!

Wonka is working for a kimura but Stein is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ein Stein showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Wonka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wonka throws a body punch but Stein moves out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stein has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Wonka has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Stein sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Wonka taps out!
