Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Projekti Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikki Tysson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikki Tysson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Projekti Mies's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mies is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tysson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mies stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Mikki Tysson has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mies.
Mies takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tysson misses with a double jab.

Mies gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tysson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Mies manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tysson manages to get himself to full guard.

Mies has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tysson is proving hard to escape from.

Tysson wants to control but Mies is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Mies stands and steps away. Tysson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Mies is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tysson.

Tysson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Tysson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mies has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tysson but great work by Mies.
