The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood slips a jab from Bartowski.
It seemed like Wood was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bartowski moves away from the strike by Wood.
Bartowski seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Wood is bucking up trying to escape but Bartowski cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bartowski postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Wood in real trouble here! The ref calls for Wood to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Oleg Bartowski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
