The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Panda closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Asap did well to prevent Panda getting side control.

Asap is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Panda pulls his head out easily.

Asap is defending against the submission attempts here by Panda.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Asap is controlling Panda's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Panda is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Panda seems to be working for a kimura but Asap defends the submission attempt.

Panda is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Asap sees it coming and defends easily.

Panda looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Panda is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Asap is trying to maintain the position but Panda is very close to passing his half guard.

Panda is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Asap defends it well.

Panda is looking for a kimura but Asap is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Panda to get the leverage.

Panda is working for an americana but Asap has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Panda was thinking about the submission.
Panda tries to free his leg and advance position but Asap is retaining full guard.

Panda has gone for a leg lock! Asap slips out almost immediately though and dives into Panda's guard.

Asap drops back looking for a leg! Panda is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Panda manages to kick Asap off! Asap jumps back into Panda's guard.

Asap has an Americana. Panda didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Asap is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Asap hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
