Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kylma Jaak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kylma Jaak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Calvin Tate!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaak stuffs the takedown.

And Tate tries to counter it with a takedown but Jaak pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Tate uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jaak.

Tate fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jaak to the ground. Tate is now in Jaak's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tate sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jaak's guard.
Tate winds up and cracks Jaak with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Tate throws a strike but Jaak rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tate has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jaak doesn't defend quickly enough and Tate has managed to lock this one up! Can Jaak escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tate on a fantastic submission victory.
