Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ramon Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Liyak Rhust!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Topper Green and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhust shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Rhust prevents Jackson from improving his position.
Rhust winds up and cracks Jackson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rhust not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Rhust wants to free his trapped foot but Jackson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Jackson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rhust looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rhust lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rhust seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Still in half guard, Rhust seems content to control.
Rhust really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rhust thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.

Rhust thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rhust fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jackson on the side of the head.
Rhust throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rhust connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jackson momentarily.
Jackson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rhust connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rhust manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jackson on his heels. He'll look to pass Jackson's guard now, I'm sure.
Jackson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Rhust cracks Jackson with a solid left hand.
Rhust arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Jackson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
