Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masaru comes to the cage accompanied by The Naked And Famous - Young Blood. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez scores with a leg kick.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Masaru but Masaru pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Masaru throws a jab but it's blocked by Martinez.
Jackson Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martinez is looking to clinch.
Masaru appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Martinez throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Masaru rushes Martinez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Martinez gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Takeru Masaru has been cut.
Martinez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Masaru is defending well for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Martinez just misses with a elbow thrown towards Masaru's brow.

Masaru has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Martinez clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Masaru is hanging on to Martinez's back as he tries to escape.

You can see the frustration on Martinez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Masaru doesn't have the hooks in and Martinez manages to turn into his guard.

Masaru has his foot on Martinez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Martinez works his way back into a safe position though.
