The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aladeen throws a solid leg kick but Lacroix takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Aladeen.
Aladeen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lacroix is looking to slow Aladeen down with leg kicks.

Aladeen misses with a hook. Lacroix ducked under it nicely.

Aladeen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lacroix checks it well.

Aladeen tried to counter with a leg kick but Lacroix avoided it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lacroix. Aladeen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Aladeen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
