Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nervous Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Down comes to the cage accompanied by puppy. Joe Washington will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Down moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Washington lands with a nice combination. Down backs away looking to recover.
Down throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Down throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Down moves forwards but Washington connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Down with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Washington to score with a decent uppercut.
Washington fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Down looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Washington lands with a good body shot.

Washington clinches with his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A shot in the inside from Washington.

Washington escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Left hook, right uppercut from Washington.
Washington scores with a decent looking hook.
Washington moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Washington looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A little feinted left hand from Down on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Down looks to land a left hand but Washington moved out of range nicely.
Joe Washington is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Washington throws a series of punches but Down moves out of range.
Down misses with a left hand
and Washington counters with a right hand to the body.
Down walks into a left hand.
Washington feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Downs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Washington moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Down thows a left - swing and a miss!
Washington comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Washington displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Down throws out the jab.
Washington scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Washington moves away from the strike by Down.
The fighters circling - Down throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Down has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
Down is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Washington.
Down takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Donk. Washington catches Down right on the button with a cross.
A lazy left from Washington finds it's target.
Washington goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Down is rocked!
Down backs away from a small jab... but Washington lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Down crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Washington with a spectacular finish!
