Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Augustine Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Zu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zu fails with a takedown attempt.

Zu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Zu wants to take a breather but Bradshaw is having none of it.

Zu wants to work for an arm triangle but Bradshaw is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradshaw is just riding it out for now. Zu eventually gives up the hold.

Bradshaw has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Zu has passed into side control.

Zu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Zu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bradshaw down.
Zu scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Bradshaw is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Zu can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Max Zu was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
