A fine choice. Coleman has chosen Johnny Cash - Solitary Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Fuego!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 42 - 37 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuego takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fuego tries to score a power double leg takedown but Coleman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fuego somewhat.
Coleman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Fuego defends it well.
Coleman jabs Fuego right on the nose. Fuego blinks but takes it well.
Fuego throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coleman's waist but Coleman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fuego off to one side.

Fuego gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fuego is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Ararigboya Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Coleman cracks Fuego with a solid left hand.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coleman landing some decent shots from guard.
Coleman lands a couple of elbows.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Coleman loads up on a big left hand. Fuego felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Coleman looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Fuego can't hide his disappointment, as Coleman celebrates the victory.
