Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Cleverley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Timer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Cleverley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Long Timer!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Timer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cleverley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Timer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Timer controlling the position from side mount.
Cleverley is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Timer has just dragged him back down to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Timer scores with a couple of short elbows.
Timer lands a few punches from side control.

Timer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cleverley wants to clinch.

Timer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Timer blocks a body shot from Cleverley.
Cleverley pushes Timer back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cleverley misses with a knee strike.
Cleverley scores with a nice hook to the head.
Timer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cleverley smiles and moves away.
Cleverley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cleverley shoots in but no luck this time.

Timer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cleverley was covering up waiting for the punch and Timer finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Timer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cleverley's head.

Timer controls from within his opponent's guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Timer has eaten all the pies!

Timer stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cleverley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Timer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cleverley closes the distance looking to clinch
and Timer counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Timer wants the takedown. Cleverley is fighting it off but Timer persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cleverley's guard against the cage.
Cleverley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Timer controls the pace.
Timer tries to free his leg and advance position but Cleverley is retaining full guard.
Timer's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Timer stands and steps away. Cleverley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

so Timer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Timer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cleverley wants to get back to his feet but Timer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Cleverley is defending against the submission attempts here by Timer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Timer is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Timer decides to stand and escape the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Timer has managed to clinch.
Timer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Cleverley to keep the fight standing.
Cleverley is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Timer is keeping busy.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Timer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Cleverley tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Timer blocks the elbow strike.

Timer manages to pull guard.
Cleverley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Timer is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cleverley won't allow Timer to sweep him here.

Long Timer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Timer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cleverley's guard.

Cleverley throws a sloppy head kick and Timer moves out of range easily.

Timer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cleverley's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cleverley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Timer is controlling him.

Timer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Timer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Timer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cleverley with a body shot.

Timer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Cleverley is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Timer is defending well for now.

Timer jumps guard and drags Cleverley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Timer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cleverley defends it easily.
Long Timer has got the better of the ground game so far.

I've got Timer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
