Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dominick Napolitano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 50 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Birdman Lugz!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lugz stuffs the takedown.
Napolitano shoots in and drives through. Lugz sprawls well.
Lugz tries to clinch up but Napolitano circles away and keeps his distance.
Lugz tries to clinch but Napolitano moves out of range.
Lugz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Napolitano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Napolitano avoids a kick to the body.
Napolitano feinted with a counter takedown.
Napolitano fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominick Napolitano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Napolitano fails to land the takedown.
Napolitano closes the distance and clinches up with Lugz, looking for a takedown. Napolitano pushes Lugz against the cage but Lugz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Napolitano shoots for a double leg takedown but Lugz sprawls well. He's pushed Napolitano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Napolitano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lugz but Lugz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lugz drops Napolitano with a right and a left! Lugz comes rushing in but Napolitano regains his composure and manages to keep Lugz in guard.

It looks like Dominick Napolitano has been cut.
Napolitano is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lugz looking to sit in guard and control but Napolitano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Napolitano pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lugz is keeping the position for now.

Napolitano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Napolitano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Napolitano is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lugz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Napolitano in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lugz tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Napolitano!
