Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gideon Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knapp has chosen Go to Sleep as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Knapp!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Knapp darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Gideon Gabriel has been cut.
Gabriel takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nice takedown defense from Gabriel. No joy for Knapp on that attempt.
Gabriel tries to counter by clinching up but Knapp breaks away and moves out of range.
Knapp lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Gabriel sprawling to the canvas. Knapp follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Gabriel hang on?
Gabriel is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Gabriel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gabriel is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Knapp jumps into side control!
Gabriel is looking for a sweep.
Knapp tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Knapp gets to mount! Gabriel was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Gabriel is looking to improve his position but Knapp isn't that keen on the idea.
Gabriel seems to have got his legs back now.
Gabriel is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Gabriel is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gabriel tries to lock up and control but Knapp gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gabriel is wriggling around trying to escape.
Knapp takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Gabriel tries to hold on but Knapp pushes him away.
Gabriel working to try and regain half guard.
Gabriel sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gabriel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gabriel looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gabriel trying to hold on to Knapp's head to control him but Knapp postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gabriel wants to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Knapp steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gabriel.
Gabriel wants to clinch but Knapp slips to the side
and Knapp counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gabriel has managed to clinch.
Gabriel has had enough of the clinch but Knapp keeps him there for the moment.
Gabriel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Knapp lands with a left to the head.
Gideon Gabriel's cut is getting worse.
Knapp lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A right handed body shot lands from Gabriel.
Knapp escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gabriel on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Knapp lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Gabriel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Knapp throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Knapp throws a hook but Gabriel avoids it easily.
Gabriel wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Knapp misses with an uppercut.
Knapp tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Knapp digs a good body shot into Gabriel's ribs.
Knapp lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gabriel lands a lovely overhand right.
Knapp pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gabriel misses the shot to the body.
Knapp dives in for a single leg takedown but Gabriel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Knapp drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Gabriel right on the button. Gabriel goes down! Knapp follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Knapp gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Knapp!
In his post fight interview, Peter Knapp started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
