Lodano cracks Diego with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Diego looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lodano finish him?

Lodano throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Diego thinks about the counter body kick.
Diego displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lodano throws out the jab.
Diego stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lodano swings for the body but Diego moves out of range.
Diego keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Lodano lands a big uppercut and Diego crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Diego looks OK. Lodano waves Diego back to his feet!

Diego is rocked!
Lodano lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Diego up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Lodano from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Diego's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lucas Lodano!
