Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alastair Gridlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gridlock has chosen Robbie Williams - Come Undone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles cracks Gridlock with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Charles looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gridlock looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Gridlock throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Charles sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Charles takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Charles tries to land a front kick but Gridlock steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Gridlock appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Gridlock loads up on a big right hand but Charles slips the punch.
Charles is looking to counter punch.
Charles shoots in and drives through. Gridlock sprawls well.
Charles definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Charles misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gridlock.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A little jabbing left from Gridlock on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Charles thuds his shin into the meat of Gridlock's side.

Gridlock drops Charles with a beautiful combination! Charles stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gridlock is looking for the KO!

Gridlock let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

and Gridlock counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Gridlock looks at the referee who does nothing so Gridlock lands a crushing right that sends Charles to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
