The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins drops Majors with a left right combo! Jenkins follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Emory Majors has been cut.

Jenkins throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Majors stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jenkins moves into range and connects with a jab.
Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Majors, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Majors against the cage but Majors circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Majors lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Jenkins throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jenkins throws a lazy right hand but Majors sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jenkins darts in looking for a takedown but Majors gets double underhooks and turns Jenkins into the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Majors must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bruce Jenkins.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jenkins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
