Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Bray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Waker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Bray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Waker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Waker falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bray cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Waker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Waker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Waker tries to clinch but Bray is having none of it.
Waker feints a jab promting Bray to slip. Waker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bray slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Renato Bray has been cut.
Bray circles away from the clinch attempt.
Waker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bray moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bray is looking to counter punch.
Bray shoots in but no luck this time.
Bray dodges the punch combination from Waker.
Waker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Waker moves into range and clinches up with Bray.

Waker tries to break the clinch but Bray is controlling the position.
Bray fails to pull guard.

Bray jumps into guard, dragging Waker to the mat.
Waker wants to stand and escape but instead Bray has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bray sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Waker trying to keep a closed guard but Bray is proving a slippery customer.

Bray stays in close to Waker's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Waker wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Waker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bray to the mat! Bray manages to get full guard.

Bray is looking for a triangle but Waker pushes his legs off easily.

Bray has his foot on Waker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Waker works his way back into a safe position though.
Waker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Waker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bray, up you get!

Waker breaks the clinch.
Bray tries to score a power double leg takedown but Waker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bray somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renato Bray. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bray drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Bray decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Waker has closed the distance and engaged Bray in a clinch.

Bray pulls guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Waker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Waker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bray's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gary Waker dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Renato Bray's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!

Waker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bray was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Gary Waker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bray paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Waker throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bray changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Waker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Waker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bray tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bray has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Waker struggling a bit here.
Waker is trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bray thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Waker is trying to buck Bray off.

You can see the frustration on Waker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bray wants to lay and pray for a moment but Waker keeps working.
Waker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Waker is looking for a sweep.
Waker can't do much from the bottom here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bray in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Bray has an Americana. Waker didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bray is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bray hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
