Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jan Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iker Dedal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dedal throws a hook to the side of Pope's head but Pope sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dedal misses with a wild combination.
The crowd cheers as Pope lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dedal doesn't seem phased though.

Pope gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Pope stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Pope is pushing Dedal up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
