Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morys Bankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bankowski's choice of entrance music: Rocket Man. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Morys Bankowski!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa connects with a looping right hand.
Balboa jabs Bankowski right on the nose. Bankowski blinks but takes it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bankowski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bankowski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Balboa throws a body shot but no joy.
Bankowski throws out a counter right but Balboa avoids it with no problem.
Bankowski misses with an uppercut
and Balboa counters with a three punch combo that has Bankowski backing up. Bankowski nods at Balboa to acknowledge the strikes.

Bankowski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Balboa avoids it really well and circles away.

It looked like Balboa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bankowski throws a looping overhand right but Balboa ducks down to avoid it.
Bankowski throws a shot from downtown. Balboa moves away and avoids it.

Bankowski goes for a double leg but Balboa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Balboa continues to drive forward.

Bankowski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Balboa.
Balboa is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Balboa lands a jab-cross combination.
Bankowski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rocky Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Morys Bankowski.
Bankowski throws a lazy right hand but Balboa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bankowski thows a left - swing and a miss!
Balboa throws a right hand that Bankowski ducks under and follows up with a left that Bankowski also avoids with ease.
Morys Bankowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bankowski might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Balboa throws a big counter combination but Bankowski scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Balboa stuns Bankowski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Bankowski throws an overhand right that lands on Balboa's shoulder, as Balboa tries to avoid the shot.

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut.
Balboa cracks Bankowski's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Bankowski slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Balboa can do further damage! This one is done, son!
