Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urban Ursson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urban Ursson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Urban Ursson!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ursson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Diaz misses with a takedown
and Ursson counters with a head kick.
Urban Ursson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz closes the distance and clinches up with Ursson, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes Ursson against the cage but Ursson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Diaz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ursson swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ursson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown but Ursson shows good takedown defense.
Ursson circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Diaz drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ursson follows Diaz to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Urban Ursson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
