Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cilian Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neymar Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Neymar Junior was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Junior circles away quickly and effectively.
Junior has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lynch is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lynch defending well as Junior loads up on a big left hand.
Lynch jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Junior throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lynch has Junior up against the cage in a clinch.
Junior is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lynch is defending well for now.
Junior cracks Lynch with a nice body shot.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Junior.
Junior lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Cilian Lynch has been cut.
Lynch turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lynch manages to end up in side control.
Junior sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Lynch is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Junior sees it coming and defends easily.
Lynch is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Junior won't allow Lynch to pass to mount.

Lynch is trying to control the action in half guard but Junior is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Lynch slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Lynch won't allow Junior to sweep him here.
Lynch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Junior swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Junior is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lynch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Junior is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Junior has escaped and now he's on top!
Lynch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Junior gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lynch looking to hit a scissor sweep but Junior is one step ahead there.
Lynch wants to improve his position but instead Junior has moved into half guard.

Lynch cracks Junior with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Junior tries to bum rush Lynch with a series of wild strikes but Lynch uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Junior lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lynch will feel that in the morning.
Junior lands with a thumping leg kick.

Junior darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Junior scores with a sloppy right hand. Lynch should have avoided that one.
Lynch darts in trying to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Junior swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Junior is looking to land body kicks.
Junior uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lynch.
Junior appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Junior throws a quick inside leg kick.
Neymar Junior seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Junior moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Lynch takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Junior counters with a straight right hand.
Cilian Lynch's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Junior paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lynch misses with a takedown attempt
and Junior counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cilian Lynch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Junior gets in close and tags Lynch with a short punch that almost sends Lynch to the mat! Oh Lynch is in big trouble! He turns his back on Junior, trying to create some distance but Junior rushes him, striking wildly and Lynch goes down! The referee tackles Junior into the cage to end the fight! Junior is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Neymar Junior! Neymar Junior retains his featherweight title!
An out of breath Neymar Junior thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
