Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by I Am The Law. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Severn's coach down at Pain was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Severn's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Severn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Smith, who protects the arm well.

Severn is trying to get an arm triangle but Smith is defending well.

It looked like Smith wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Severn circles away quickly and effectively.

and Severn counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Severn looks at the referee who does nothing so Severn lands a crushing right that sends Smith to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

A relieved looking Chris Severn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
