The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington shoots and misses
and Coleman counters with a series of strikes. Washington will be more careful next time no doubt.
Coleman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Coleman looking to throw knees to the head but Washington is blocking nicely.
Washington is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Coleman to keep the fight standing.
Coleman stops a takedown attempt from Washington.
Greg Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshua Jr Washington.
Coleman lands with a short head shot on the inside.


It looks like Joshua Jr Washington has been cut.

Coleman lands a hook to the side of the head.


Washington is rocked!
The fighters are battling for dominant position up against the cage here. Coleman manages to get control of his opponent's head and throws a big knee - Washington drops to the canvas! He's done! Coleman goes wild and celebrates with his corner - this is a big victory for him and to get the win in such devastating fashion will certainly boost his reputation amongst the fans!
