The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson tries to close the distance and clinch but Obi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hudson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Obi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hudson scrambles back to his feet.
Obi with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Obi cracks Hudson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Hudson staying out of range there.
Hudson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Obi throws a big shot that misses.
Obi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mikel Obi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hudson is rocked!
Hudson glances at the clock... BAM! Obi nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Hudson crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Hudson is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
