Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Azzam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lycan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Azzam.
Jones lands with a good body shot.
Azzam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Azzam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Azzam ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Azzam goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward.

Azzam attempts a counter takedown but Jones avoids it well and moves away.
Jones misses with a hook. Azzam ducked under it nicely.
Azzam tries to score with a low kick but Jones moves his leg out of the way.
Lycan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones throws a lazy right hand but Azzam sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones swings for the body but Azzam moves out of range.

Azzam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Azzam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Azzam uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.

Jones sends Azzam crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jones is motioning to the referee to let Azzam up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Tony Azzam has been cut.

Jones throws a shot from downtown. Azzam moves away and avoids it.
Oh Azzam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
