Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ramsay Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sanyika Shakur!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow tries for a takedown but Shakur circles away easily
letting Shakur counter with a right hand.
Shakur looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nice sprawl there from Shakur as Snow shoots in.
Shakur looks to score with a jab to the body but Snow is just out of range.
Snow darts in looking for a takedown but Shakur gets double underhooks and turns Snow into the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Snow wants to work for an arm triangle but Shakur is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shakur can do anything to dispel that myth.

Shakur really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ramsay Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Snow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shakur walks away with a smile on his face. Snow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A nice side step and Shakur releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Snow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shakur avoids it really well and circles away.
Snow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shakur defends well and Snow ends up having to push Shakur into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Shakur lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
