Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cliff Biff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and No Name Yet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). No Name Yet has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cliff Biff's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cliff Biff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, No Name Yet!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yet clinches up with Biff and pushes him back against the cage.
Biff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yet walks away with a smile on his face. Biff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Biff dives in and grabs Yet's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yet pushes down on Biff's head and hops out.

Yet looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Biff!

Yet tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Biff tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yet wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yet tries to advance to mount but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yet throws an elbow but Biff slips to the side and avoids it well.
Biff tries to bench press Yet off him but Yet keeps the position.

Yet tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yet has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Yet tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Yet creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Biff sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Yet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Biff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
You can see the frustration on Biff's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Biff is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Yet is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Yet is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Biff is surviving well by controlling Yet's body position as best he can.
Yet punching from mount but Biff doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Yet sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Yet trying to control but Biff is having none of it.
Yet content just to control the position here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yet throws a strike there. Biff manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Yet looks to land a strike but Biff avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Yet trying to control the position from guard on top but Biff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yet sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Biff is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yet is aware though and is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Yet throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yet preventing the sweep.
Yet must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Yet stands and steps away. Biff gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Yet closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Biff did well to prevent Yet getting side control.
Yet trying to mount his opponent but Biff defends it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Yet is looking to stall here but Biff recovers full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yet accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No Name Yet dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Yet shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yet showed some decent athleticism there.
Yet not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Yet postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Biff to stand up.
Yet misses with a combination
and Biff counters with a head kick. That will keep Yet thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Yet. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Yet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Biff plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


It looks like No Name Yet has been cut.
Yet throws a body kick, spinning off balance
letting Biff counter with a right hand.

Yet closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Biff struggling a bit here.
Yet is trying to move to mount but Biff reverses beautifully and ends up in Yet's guard.
Biff postures up.
Yet working a defensive guard but Biff manages to pass into side control anyway.
Biff is looking to take a break and control but Yet is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Yet is trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Biff tries to stand but Yet is controlling his head.
Yet is pushing Biff's head away, looking to escape. Biff manages to hold on to the position though.
Biff tries to stand but Yet is controlling his head.
Yet wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Yet bucks up and tries to throw Biff off but instead Biff has got his back!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Biff tries to get the hooks in deep but Yet pushed the leg off.
Yet can't escape the position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Biff's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Yet trying to control but not successfully.
Biff is looking to control Yet but Yet is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Yet tries to escape but Biff has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Yet is trying to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Yet looking very determined here, making life difficult for Biff.
Biff is trying to stick to Yet's back but Yet is turning into Biff. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Biff's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Yet.
Biff looking for a sweep. Not yet Biff, not yet.
Biff is trying to control the position but Yet postures up.
Yet trying to control the position from guard on top but Biff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yet pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Biff is keeping the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cliff Biff will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on No Name Yet's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Biff lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
No Name Yet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yet throws a right and a left that Biff avoids nicely.
A head kick from Biff lands but Yet takes it in his stride.
Yet misses the shot to the body.
Yet throws a combination that misses
letting Biff counter with a right hand.
Yet misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Biff counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yet is looking to land body kicks.
Biff attempts a counter takedown but Yet avoids it well and moves away.

Yet moves into the clinch.
Biff tries to break free but Yet pushes him back against the cage.

Yet successfully pulls guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Biff preventing the sweep.
Yet not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Biff is looking to work some ground and pound but Yet has wrist control.

Yet looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Biff has picked Yet up and slammed him! Yet can't keep hold of the triangle and Biff manages to pass to side control!
Biff works to advance to full mount. Yet defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Biff punching from mount but Yet doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Yet looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Biff is hanging on to Yet's back as he tries to escape.
Yet prevents Biff from getting a body triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Biff is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Yet is tapping out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cliff Biff!
