The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurwiec slaps away a takedown attempt from Kaleva, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kaleva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kurwiec doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kurwiec manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kaleva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kurwiec gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kurwiec has gone for a leg lock! Kaleva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kurwiec's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
