Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benício Nazário (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Momo La Brute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazário comes into the arena with Counting Stars blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazário rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but La Brute moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

La Brute gets in close and instigates a clinch.
La Brute has a couple of punches blocked by Nazário.
La Brute tries to land knees in the clinch but Nazário avoids the damage to the body.
La Brute lands with a light punch inside.
A right hook to the body lands for Nazário.
Nazário blocks an uppercut.

Nazário escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nazário shoots in for a takedown but La Brute shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

La Brute closes the distance and clinches.
La Brute misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nazário.

Nazário gets control of La Brute's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nazário will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Nazário lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Nazário not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Nazário has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

La Brute is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Nazário dives into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Nazário has an Americana. La Brute didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nazário is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nazário hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
