Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pejro Karesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolfo Gusman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pejro Karesky!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 1, fighting out of London, Rodolfo Gusman!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Karesky checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Karesky wants to clinch up but Gusman keeps it at a distance.
Gusman looks to score with a jab to the body but Karesky is just out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Karesky crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gusman - the referee stops the clock and Karesky gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gusman. Karesky manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Karesky throws a quick inside leg kick.
Karesky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Gusman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Karesky throws a nice looking combination but Gusman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Karesky landing knees to the body.
Gusman goes for a takedown attempt but Karesky pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gusman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gusman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Karesky is trying to defend but Gusman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Karesky is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Karesky is trying to stick to Gusman's back but Gusman is turning into Karesky. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Karesky's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gusman.

Gusman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Gusman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gusman lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gusman is looking to take a break and control but Karesky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rodolfo Gusman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Gusman keeps the fight on the outside.
It seemed like Gusman was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gusman in particular looking to stall.
Gusman uses his free foot to push down on Karesky's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Karesky.

Karesky wants to control but Gusman is having none of it.
Karesky tries to reverse the position but Gusman maintains control.
Gusman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Gusman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Gusman postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Karesky in real trouble here! The ref calls for Karesky to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodolfo Gusman!
