Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Rutherford!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chesterfield scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Chesterfield misses with a right hand
and Rutherford cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rutherford throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rutherford feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Chesterfield's calf.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rutherford darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rutherford's coach down at The Charles Martel School of Greatness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rutherford's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Rutherford slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Chesterfield throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Rutherford to counter with a crisp jab.
Chesterfield throws the left hand but Rutherford avoids the punch easily.
Chesterfield throws an overhand right that lands on Rutherford's shoulder, as Rutherford tries to avoid the shot.
Rutherford follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Chesterfield loads up on a big right hand but Rutherford slips the punch.
Rutherford lands a nice looking body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chesterfield throws a predictable looking body shot
and Rutherford counters with a stiff right hand.

Chesterfield is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rutherford.
Chesterfield jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rutherford wants to clinch but Chesterfield slips to the side
and Chesterfield cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Rutherford takes the fight into the clinch.
Chesterfield goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rutherford scores with a nice hook to the head.
Chesterfield swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Rutherford creates a bit of space and cracks Chesterfield with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Chesterfield is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!

Chesterfield glances at the clock... BAM! Rutherford nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Chesterfield crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Chesterfield is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
