And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilmarinen shoots and misses
and Obi counters with a left to the body.
Ilmarinen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Obi scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Veikko Ilmarinen has been cut.
Obi cracks a nice hook into Ilmarinen's ribs.
Ilmarinen tries to clinch up.
It seemed like Obi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ilmarinen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Obi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ilmarinen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Obi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Obi connects with a jab.
Ilmarinen tries to clinch but Obi is having none of it.
Obi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ilmarinen was well out of range. Poor timing from Obi.

Obi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ilmarinen moves forwards but Obi connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Veikko Ilmarinen's cut is getting worse.
Obi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Obi takes a swing at Ilmarinen's ribcage but misses.
Ilmarinen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Veikko Ilmarinen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ilmarinen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Obi cracks Ilmarinen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Obi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ilmarinen to stand back up!
Ilmarinen is rocked!
Ilmarinen is holding his hands too far apart here. Obi throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Ilmarinen is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
