The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rackham misses with a kick to the body.
Rackham misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rackham tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kwidama was well out of range. Poor timing from Rackham.
Kwidama replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Rackham blocks it well.
Kwidama misses with a low kick as Rackham jumps back.
Rackham scoring well with a low kick there.
Rackham tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rackham keeps the fight on the outside.
Rackham seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Rackham avoids a kick to the body.
Rackham connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kwidama's hands.
It looks like Chaly Kwidama has been cut.
Rackham connects with a body shot that sends Kwidama's belly button to the back.
Kwidama misses with a low kick.
Kwidama pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rackham is out of range and Kwidama settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rackham takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rackham misses with a head kick.
Kwidama takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kwidama will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rackham dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rackham throws a head kick but Kwidama moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rackham lands a big head kick that sends Kwidama tumbling to the mat! Rackham takes a step backwards and waves Kwidama back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That kick from Kwidama tenderised Rackham's leg. Rackham is trying to keep his angry face on.
A clash of legs there as Rackham blocks the low kick.
Rackham scores with a hook to the body. Kwidama takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rackham takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kwidama misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rackham connects with a leg kick. Kwidama looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kwidama lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kwidama swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Rackham lands a nice looking body kick.
Chaly Kwidama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rackham closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kwidama is rocked!
Rackham goes for a small jab and connects. Now Rackham goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Kwidama stumbles back but Rackham runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Kwidama to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Kwidama will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Rackham!
