Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dmitry Borschev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Genghis Khan!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan looks to land a right hand but Borschev moved out of range.
Borschev is looking to chop away at Khan's legs.
Khan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Borschev misses with a leg kick.
Khan has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Borschev is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Khan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Borschev.
Borschev looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Khan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Borschev's sensitive parts.

Khan misses with a leg kick.
Khan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Borschev checks it well.
Khan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Khan misses with a body shot.
Borschev appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Borschev keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.


It looks like Genghis Khan has been cut.
Borschev scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Khan doesn't seem bothered though.
Borschev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Khan follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Borschev feints and then cracks Khan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Khan down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Borschev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khan can pounce on him.
Genghis Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Borschev counters with an outside leg kick.
Borschev uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Khan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Borschev moves out of range as Khan throws a body kick.
Borschev throws a lazy right hand but Khan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Khan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
As Khan backs away, Borschev returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Khan switches off momentarily and Borschev cracks him with a monster right hand! Khan topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Borschev dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Borschev!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dmitry Borschev!
After winning the bout, Dmitry Borschev thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
