Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yorick Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Torturo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torturo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mogwai - Katrien kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 45 - 20 - 4, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marko Torturo!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown moves out of range of the body kick.
Torturo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Torturo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brown connects with a right hand. Torturo shakes it off.
Brown misses with a body shot.
Torturo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Torturo manages to avoid it.
Torturo lands an overhand right.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Brown.
Brown misses with a few strikes there.
Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Torturo moves out of range easily.

Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Torturo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Torturo flicks out a counter leg kick but Brown steps away.
Brown scores with a crisp jab that stopped Torturo in his tracks.

It looked like Brown wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Marko Torturo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torturo looks to land a body kick but Brown moved away.

and Torturo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Torturo was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown.
Brown has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Barracks - LOD in the buildup to the fight.

Brown looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Torturo throws a looping overhand right but Brown ducks down to avoid it.
Torturo takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Brown lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A nice leg kick lands there from Torturo.

Torturo moves out of range of the leg kick from Brown.

Brown connects with a solid leg kick.
Torturo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brown checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Torturo tries to work over Brown's front leg with a kick but Brown checks it.
Brown was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Brown takes one to the side of the head.
Brown looks to land a right hand but Torturo moved out of range.
Torturo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Torturo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Torturo drops his hands momentarily and Brown takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Torturo looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely.
Torturo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Brown misses the jab.
Torturo appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Brown counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Torturo misses with a few strikes there.
Torturo throws a body kick that misses.
Torturo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brown throws out the jab.
Brown is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Torturo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Torturo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Torturo throws a push kick but Brown slaps the foot to one side.
Torturo misses the shot to the body.
Torturo finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Torturo throws the kick towards the body but Brown avoids it.
Brown is looking to chop away at Torturo's legs.
Torturo explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Torturo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Torturo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Torturo scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brown cracks a nice hook into Torturo's ribs.
Torturo throws a body kick that misses
and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brown checks a low kick from Torturo.
Torturo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Torturo moves away.
Brown swings for the body but Torturo moves out of range.
Torturo doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Good shot there by Brown.
Torturo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brown misses the jab.
Brown scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Torturo throws out the jab.
A counter left hand to the body from Brown misses its target.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Torturo slips a straight right by Brown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brown is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Torturo can do to turn this around?
Brown feints a jab promting Torturo to slip. Brown then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Torturo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

A looping hook to the body misses from Torturo. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet.

Oooooh!!! Brown has knocked Torturo down with a huge combo! Brown steps away and waves a wobbly Torturo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Brown scores with a counter punch that sends Torturo to the canvas! Brown smells blood - he's punishing Torturo with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Torturo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
